Give your control hub power. Add an in-line switch for ease of use.
Open up the phone that is labeled TEAM# - DS. The PIN to get into the phone is 7681. Find the Driver Station App and open it.
The Robot Controller should automatically connect to the Drivers Station. Make sure the driver station phone and the control hub label matches the network connection shown.
There is now a wifi network setup between your DS phone and your RC. Also, there is a computer running the Android OS inside that RC. The computer is also connected to another board which will handle all of your sensor input and motor output.
Below is a description of the user interface on the drivers station. You will be using this to configure and control your robot.
You will want to temporarily attach your RC to your robot with a couple M3 bolts. You will likely move this later.
Now we are ready to wire up the motors from our robot. Be sure to label each wire AND the place where it should be plugged in with tape during this step.
-We will now add our motors to the configuration file. First, press the three dots and choose “Configure Robot”.
Then choose “New”. The RC should automatically show up. If it doesn't ask for help. When it does, “Control Hub Portal”.
Later this will end up showing other connected devices like an Expansion Hub, Webcam, etc. For now, choose “Control Hub” and then “Motors”.
Start by plugging your gamepad into the driver station.
If you are using a phone you will need a USB to Micro Adapter.
